Palaeoloxodon huaihoensis
An incredibly preserved juvenile Palaeoloxodon huaihoensis, an early elephant, molar found in Asia. Palaeoloxodon migrated from Africa during the Middle Pleistocene was present in Europe and Asia to the Late Pleistocene Ice Age. Fantastic natural color! An extra large molar with a nicely articulated chewing surface. A nicely articulated and complete root - very rare. Completely fossilized. This is a premium example without the typical river wear seen in most Palaeoloxodon specimens. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed.
