A very rare Physeteridae sp., a Sperm whale, tooth from Caldera area of Chile. This is a second much rarer late Miocene Sperm whale tooth found in the Bahia Inglesa Fm. This tooth is similar to the Sperm whale teeth found at the Sharktooth Hill site. I have only seen four teeth. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. Unfortunately there are no teeth coming from this site 19 years!

A Top Quality, Scaldicetus sp.,Sperm Whale, tooth from the ACE river basin, So. Carolina. A Miocene age whale tooth. This tooth has a wonderful spiked enamel crown and large, complete round root. This tooth shows excellent detail - very well preserved. The root is nearly complete. An excellent Sperm whale tooth. You do not see many Sperm whale teeth in Top Quality condition.
