A well preserved juvenile bison toe bone (Bison antiquus) from Northern Florida.  This is the second toe bone (phalanx).  The bison arrived in North America during the middle Pleistocene (195, 000 to 135,000 years ago). A well fossilized specimen. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed.
