A well preserved juvenile bison astragalus bone (Bison antiquus) from Northern Florida.  The astragalus is the ankle bone. The bison arrived in North America during the middle Pleistocene (195, 000 to 135,000 years ago). A well fossilized specimen. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed.
