A TOP QUALITY, very rare Basilosaurus cetoides, an Archaeocete whale tooth found in the Suwanee River, Suwanee Co., Florida. An excellent incisor or canine tooth (see photo for tooth positions).  An excellent light brown colored crown and root. Nicely articulated. Note - enamel tip shows wear pattern on crown from grinding. Whales do not shed their teeth like the sharks so there teeth will wear with age. An Eocene age tooth (35 MYA).  No repair or restoration. A great Archaeocete tooth from the Suwanee River, Florida.  A very rare collector's tooth from an old collection.

A rare TOP QUALITY Thinobadistes wetzeli  sloth tooth, an extinct genus of giant ground sloth, from Phosphoria Mine, Polk Co., Florida. This tooth has excellent preservation and shows no wear. Two well preserved horse teeth (Equus sp. ) and a deer tooth (Odocoileus sp.) from Okeechobee, Florida.  The horse arrived in North America during the late Pliocene and became extinct at the end of the Pleistocene. Deer arrived in No. America in the mid-Miocene. These teeth reside on their original hard sandstone matrix. Lots of prep time required to expose these teeth. Very well fossilized specimens. An extinct extinct Oreodont jaw (Merycoidodon culbertson) from Converse Co., Wyoming. Merycoidodon culbertson  was one of many mammals that thrived in the Early Oligocene in North America. Found in the Brule Fm. (Rupelian) 33 - 30 million years ago. A very well preserved specimen. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed.

A TOP QUALITY, EXTRA LARGE Coelodonta antiquitatis tooth - the Woolly Rhinoceros. This Ice Age monster lived during the Pleistocene  throughout Europe and northern Asia. A rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Whale Ear Bone, tympanic bulla, from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. This is an essentially complete ear bone. Incredible preservation and color.
