A LARGE rare, High Quality Petalodus alleghaniensis, an extinct Petalodont shark tooth, from the Paleozoic era in Iowa. An excellent primary cusp. Great color and articulation. A well preserved specimen with some damage. No restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. An excellent collector's tooth! 

Age: Upper Pennsylvanian (300 MYA); Herta Limestone Fm.

Location: Crescent, Pottawattamie Co., Iowa
