Ankylosaurus magniventris was the largest Ankylosaur which grew to 30 feet and 17000 pounds, and a body covered with this bony armor. A complete body osteoderm plate with a central keel from a large Ankylosaurus. The bone quality is exceptional with excellent color and patina. Plus natural blood grooves cover the surface of this scute. There is one crack. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Walworth Co., So. A rare, Top Quality pair of associated Denversaurus osteoderms (bony armor plate)  from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An August Fossil of the Month. Ankylosaurus and Denversaurus, a Nodosaur, were the two Ankylosaurs present in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek Formations.  Two complete, associated osteoderms from the Nodosaur neck area (see photo of the HMNS Denversaurus skeleton). One osteoderm is a keel type and the second osteoderm is a peripherial edge type. You won't see these osteoderms very often. The bone is very good quality with great color and patina. Some crack fill. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Lance Creek Fm., Converse Co., Wyoming. Authenticity guaranteed. However, based upon the tooth size, a strong posterior curve , and a serration density of 6-8/mm mesial & 6/mm posterior, they appear to be from a Dromaeosaurid species.
