    An ultra rareTenontosaurus tilletti  "chest" consisting of the scapula, 13 ribs, and 6 vertebra as found on its original Cloverly Formation matrix. A March Fossil of the Month. Tenontosaurus is an early Cretaceous basal iguanodontid dinosaur, and it was the primary prey for Deinonychus. This specimen was prepared to thoroughly expose the chest area bones. Bones were exposed 2" above the matrix which makes a great 3D display. Minor crack fill. The ribs are as found with no extra fill used. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Clovery Fm., Carbon Co., Montana. Authenticity guaranteed.  A very rare collector's display piece. You don't see Tenontosaurus fossils very often. Note - This specimen has a custom steel display stand as shown. This specimen weighs 35 lbs. A supplemental shipping fee will be required for international orders.

    An ultra rare, Top Quality Torvosaurus gurneyi tooth from the Jurassic (Kimmeridgian) of Portugal. A March Fossil of the Month. This is the 2nd Torvosaurus species with a complete crown measures 2". The enamel is highest quality. Excellent black color. Excellent extra large posterior and anterior serrations. Note - the anterior carina end about 2/3 of the way down from the tip. The diagnostic for a Torvosaurus tooth. Excellent overall enamel condition. A small tip repair (see UV photo). The serration reconstruction is exceptional. No restoration. Torvosaurus was a large predator during the late Jurassic with large teeth designed to slash predators. Archaeodontosaurus is a large sauropod known from the Middle Jurassic (Bathonian) Isalo III formation, characterized by teeth that appear adapted for browsing, similar to some earlier sauropodomorphs.
