A LARGE,  well preserved extinct Giant Capybara molar from Edisto River, So. Carolina.  The Giant Capybara was an oversized rodent that evolved in the Pleistocene and became extinct at the end of the Pleistocene in North America. A colorful Top Quality Megalodon tooth from Georgia. The crown has excellent multi-tone Tan colors. The enamel is the Highest Quality with typical hydration cracks. An EXTRA LARGE mahogany brown colored bourlette which is essentially complete. Razor sharp, extra large serrations including a damaged tip serration. The root is a brown color, nicely articulated, and complete. Extra thick root. Incredible color. Note - these Georgia Megs are fantastic - essentially little sign of wear and excellent preservation. A very rare, Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth with a wicked break away; a possible sign of T.rex fighting breakage. This tooth measures 2-1/4". The enamel has excellent color and patina. Excellent anterior and posterior serrations. Base cross-section is a wide oval. One crack. No restoration. A top quality tooth!
