A Top Quality Great White tooth from the Ica region of Peru. Lower jaw tooth - juvenile shark. Highest quality enamel. An excellent TAN & BLUE colored crown with excellent serrations. Excellent serrations - no wear. The tooth exhibits the side cusps - a juvenile trait. Note - the tooth is a possible Carcharodon hubbelli, GW transition tooth, with small serrations on the lower half of the crown and no serrations on the top half of the crown. Also note - the left root lobe was reattached. Excellent color. A desert shark from the deserts of Peru! Authenticity guaranteed. You don't see these teeth any more.

Pliocene age (3 million years ago) with some teeth reaching into the late Miocene when C. hubbelli, the GW ancestor with partially serrated teeth, evolved.
