This catalog contains excellent teeth from an unusual and rare form of the Great White shark, Carcharodon carcharias - Transitional Teeth. These teeth are noted for their triangular crowns which exhibit little to very fine serrations. These are thought to be transitional teeth along the evolutionary path between Isurus hastalis (the Big-toothed Mako and precursor to C. carcharias ) and the Great White shark, C. carcharias. These teeth are rarely found!
