A rare, Top Quality fossil Giant Beaver incisor tooth (Castoroides leiseyorum) from a natural spring, Central Florida. A March Fossil of the Month. Gorgeous black color with mottled blue and cream hues.. Nice characteristic "chisel shape" wear pattern. The Giant Beavers grew to 6 to 8 feet in length and could weigh 500 lbs. Pleistocene age.
