An EXTRA LARGE, very rare, GEM Quality Parotodus benedeni  tooth with a massive root from Euhaw Creek, Jasper Co., So. Carolina. A Miocene-Pliocene age tooth from the Hawthorne Fm. Nice Charcoal Gray color. Lateral tooth. Highest quality enamel with razor sharp edges and a "needle-like" sharp tip. Root is complete, thick (11/16"), nicely articulated, and a very small hydration crack. No wear! No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. A very difficult tooth to locate.
