These teeth are from the Miocene Pungo River Fm. and the Pliocene Yorktown Fm.     An EXTRA LARGE (6-5/8"), Quality Carcharocles megalodon from offshore Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. A January Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon is a big upper jaw anterior tooth (A1). Great color. The enamel and serrations are very good quality. Bourlette is a dark brown (nearly black) color, extra large and mostly dentin later. The root is complete. No repair or restoration. This is a high quality BIG Atlantic Ocean Megalodon tooth from this offshore site. Authenticity guaranteed.
