Hexanchus griseus - Chile
A Top Quality Chilean Hexanchus griseus upper jaw tooth from the Caldera Basin of Chile. This tooth with four perfect cusps. Excellent preservation and fantastic color. This specimen is displayed on its original matrix with a well preserved tuna vertabra. No repair. These tooth was found in the Bahia Inglesa Fm. and is late Miocene to early Pliocene age. A scarce collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. Unfortunately there are no more teeth coming from this site. This rare piece is from an old collection! A great display piece.
