An exceptional Aetomylaeus sp., an Eagle ray, mouth plate from Caldera area of Chile. An excellent plate of pavement teeth from the lower jaw. The specimen resides on its original phosphorite matrix. This plate has exceptional preservation, fantastic dark red colors, and exceptionally clean. Note - the bottom side of this specimen is covered with matrix. A Top Quality Notorhynchus tooth - a Sevengill Cow shark, from the Randle's Cliff, Maryland.  A rare lower jaw symphyseal tooth with 10 primary cusps. An ultra rare, Quality lower jaw lateral Hexanchus tooth - the Sixgill Cow shark, from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. This tooth has a rich blue & tan crown with a tan root. Nine main cusps (one damaged). Please note that this tooth broke in two and was neatly put back together.  Incredible color and preservation. These are Pliocene age, Yorktown Formation teeth. A very rare, EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Edestus heinrichi shark tooth, from Herrin, Illinois. This is a Paleozoic shark that lived in swamps that our now underground coal deposits. Excellent preservation, serrations, and serration detail. The Edestus shark would have an upper and lower tooth whorl that are vertically opposed. Research showed that they could use their opposing teeth in a scissor-like motion or a vertical whipping motion to cut prey. It is the first animal to cut vertically. A very strange looking and unique acting shark. Shark recreation image is credited to Julio Lacerdo. These rare teeth are Pennsylvanian age from Illinois. A rare TOP QUALITY, Great White shark transition tooth, Carcharodon hubbelli. A lower jaw anterior tooth with side cusps - a juvenile shark characteristic. This C. hubbelli tooth has small serrations at the base of the cutting edge that disappear towards the tip.
