A rare Top Quality, transition GW tooth, Carcharodon hubbelli. An upper jaw anterior tooth. The C. hubbelli serrations are full at the base of the cutting edge, transition to fine serrations at mid crown and disappear towards the tip. This tooth has an excellent tan colored crown and brown root with well pronounced maroon colored gum line. Excellent color. The crown edge starts with two oversized serrations at the base and quickly transforms into "Escheri-like" wavy serrations. An early stage transition form. No repair. Authenticity guaranteed. An exceptional GW transition form!  It will be extremely difficult to locate Carcharodon hubbelli since there is no new supply.

An ultra rare, 5-5/8" GEM, Deep Red North Carolina Carcharocles megalodon, an upper jaw Principal Anterior tooth from the Meherrin River copper-red site. This incredibly rare tooth is our February Fossil of the Month. NC001 has an incredible deep red colored crown. The finest color from the copper red site! The enamel is the highest quality. The serrations are essentially prefect with a needle-like tip serration. The root is perfect. Definitely a Miocene Meg with "root ears" and serration bumps at base. Note - you rarely see a copper-red Megalodon shark tooth that has a top quality crown, root and serrations - a top .1% tooth from this site! A TOP QUALITY Chubutensis tooth from Peru - an upper jaw tooth. Another February Fossil of the Month. An incredible tan and red colored crown with no peel. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic extra large side cusps. Extra large and sharp serrations are incredible including a good tip serration. The bourlette is a light tan color and 100% complete. Extra wide. The root is excellent brown color, nicely articulated, and nearly complete The only challenge with this tooth is some minor root repair at the very base of the root (see black colored area). An incredibly colored, extra large Peruvian Chubutensis tooth! You won't see any more like this Chub. An incredibly sized, GEM Great White shark tooth from Chile. My final February 2018 Fossil of the Month.This ULTRA RARE, MONSTER sized Great White tooth measures 2-7/8" - a huge upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. Highest quality enamel! Excellent color.
