A Top Quality, rare Pararaucaria pine cone specimen from Argentina. These Jurassic pine cones are exquisite and known for their high quality and great preservation. A Top Quality Lepidodendron section from Keota, Oklahoma. The Lepidodendron is extinct genus of tree-sized primitive lycopsid plants that evolved during the Pennsylvanian Period. They are large vascular plants which is related to todays club mosses. This specimen is well preserved with dimple-like depressions covering the outer surface. Pennsylvanian age. (300 mya). It weighs 4.3 pounds. Authenticity guaranteed.

An EXTRA LARGE Top Quality, rare Dicotaledon fruit or seed pod specimen from Morocco. The Moroccan "pine cone". These are found in the late Eocene sediments in Western Sahara, Morocco. Note that the interior of the cone is replaced by agate. Authenticity guaranteed. My largest one!

An EXTRA LARGE,  TOP QUALITY, Metasequoia dakotensis cone from Montana. These "dinosaur age" pine cones are found in the Hell Creek Formation of Dawson Co., Montana. These Upper Cretaceous pine cones are high quality with great preservation. They are fully inflated spheres and maximun size (redwoods produce very small cones for their size!). The Metasequoia is the "dawn redwood", and it is one of the three redwood conifers species. Authenticity guaranteed.
