A rare pair of juvenile Woolly Mammoth (Mammuthus primigenius), an early elephant, teeth in the jaw. Found in Siberia. An October Fossil of the Month. Mammoths were present in this area during the Late Pleistocene Ice Age. Fantastic natural color!  These molars have nicely articulated chewing surfaces. Completely fossilized. Weighs 5 lbs. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. An excellent collectors specimen and a very attractive display piece A perfect juvenile tooth. This tooth comes with a custom burl wood base plate as shown. Note: an international supplemental shipping cost will be calculated.
