A TOP QUALITY, very rare Archaeocete whale, Zygorhiza kochii. A partial large molar or yoke tooth. An exceptional brown colored crown. Nicely articulated. Large root. This tooth has no repair. Note - enamel tip shows wear pattern on crown from grinding. Whales do not shed their teeth like the sharks so there teeth will wear with age. An extinct early Running Rhinoceras jaw (Hyracodon nebraskensis) from Sioux Co., Nebraska. Hyracodon nebraskensis was one of many mammals that thrived in the Early Oligocene in North America. Found in the Brule Fm. (Rupelian) 33 - 30 million years ago. A very well preserved specimen. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed.
