Tenontosaurus tilletti
A LARGE, rare Top Quality Tenontosaurus tilletti rooted tooth from an early Cretaceous basal iguanodontid dinosaur found in the Clovery Fm. Tenontosaurus was the primary prey for Deinonychus. It had robust leaf shaped teeth used to tear and grind coarse vegetation. The enamel is highest quality. Great dark brown color. Excellent enamel grinding surface. Minor crack fill. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Clovery Fm., Carbon Co., Montana. Authenticity guaranteed. A rare rooted collector's tooth. You don't see Tenontosaurus teeth very often. Note - this specimen includes a Riker diaplay frame.
