Hadrosaurs
Find the remarkable world of the "duck-billed" dinosaurs with the premium selection of Hadrosaur fossils. The Hadrosaurs are commonly know as the "duck-billed dinosaurs". These large herbivores were both bipedal and quadrapedal and grew to a size of ~40 feet. They lived throughout the Cretaceous period, and believed to live in large groups. Fossil remains include well preserved teeth, bones, and claws. These top quality specimens were all legally collected from private lands in the northwestern US. Late Cretaceous, Hell Creek Fm. (or equivalent), 68-66 MYA.
Edmontosaurus was one of the largest members of the hadrosaur family which lived during the late Cretaceous in North America. These were large dinosaurs which grow up to 50 feet in length and weighed up to 10,000 lbs. Edmontosaurus was a herbivore who had a large bill-like snout that was able to nip and tear vegetation, and their jaws were filled with rows of large teeth used to grind vegetation. They appear to live in herds and they would be prey for Tyrannosaurus rex. Edmontosaurus had little defense when attacked by T. rex. They are believed to good speed for their size and a herd of large adults may have been have been threatening to a T. rex. There are two species of Edmontosaurus. There are two species of Edmontosaurus and in the Hell Creek formation, Edmontosaurus annectens was the species present.
Today, we find fossilized Edmontosaurus annectens teeth, unguals (claws), and non-associated bones in the Hell Creek Formation. Authenticity guaranteed.

This is a non-associated set of toe bones from the outer toe (toe IV - see diagram), and it consists of four four toe bones (Phalanx 1 thru 4) and a pes hoof core (ungual). Bone quality is excellent with minor crack fill on Phalanx 1 & 2 only. Other pieces are perfect including an exceptional pes ungual. No restoration. A Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens lower jaw section from the late Cretaceous of North America. An August Fossil of the Month. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. They possessed ~300 teeth that were in columns of five teeth each which acted as conveyor belt to maintain a large chewing surface to cut and grind their food. This specimen is a large section of the lower jaw showing at least 20 teeth still in place. Bone quality is excellent with no cracks. No restoration.
