A rare late Jurassic sauropod limb bone section from the Morrison Fm. with bite marks. This is most likely a Camarasaurus tibia end section.  There is a tooth rake and a wedge cut shown in photos #3 & 4. Photo #5 shows a circular puncture of the bone. Camarasaurus was a mid- sized Jurassic sauropod.. Great rich brown gray color. Excellent bone quality. Note - sauropods had hollow bones with air sacs to reduce their weight. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Bone Cabin Quarry, Albany Co., Wyoming. Authenticity guaranteed.  Shipping weight is 6 lbs. This item is not eligible for free shipping. Camarasaurus is the most common sauropod of the late Jurassic period in the western US. This monster reached lengths of approximately 49-75 feet and reached weights approaching 50 tons. Their teeth are shaped like spoons to tear vegetation. A must have item for Jurassic dinosaur collectors. Fossil remains in teeth, bones, and claws. All of which are very rare and extremely difficult to locate. These top quality specimens were all legally collected from private lands in the northwestern US.
