A rare Cairanoolithus, probable Nodosaur dinosaur, egg from Meze, Herault, France. Cairanoolithus type eggs are only found in Southwestern Europe. These eggs are covered with subdued ornamentation compared to other egg types. This cairanoolithus dughii egg may belong to the Nodosaur, such as, Struthiosaurus. It is found in the Upper Cretaceous era (Campanian) 72 million years old. No repair or restoration. An old collection piece. AUTHENTICITY GUARANTEED. This is large specimen with uncommon quality; unlike the common / restored dinosaurs eggs being sold.
