The Ammonite Collection. A cluster of three Top Quality pyritized Pleuroceras costatum ammonites from Heinbaum, Germany. There are two specimens on top and one on the bottom with a fossil clam. An EXTRA LARGE, incredible polished Goniatites sp., an early ammonite-like cephalopod showing the intricate internal chamber structure. The rock matrix is a beautiful marble material and the cavities are mineral filled! These Goniatites are beautifully polished on all sides. An extra thick specimen (1-3/4").  Authenticity gauranteed. A gorgeous Quenstedticeras lamberti ammonite from the Saratov region of Russia. Incredible pyrite replaced ammonite with a crystal lined interior. This ammonite has natural irredescent crystal colors - very nice. Excellent pyrite crystals!  Middle Jurassic age. Authenticity guaranteed. Note - supply of these pyrite ammonites stopped in 2011.
