A scarce Top Quality, Isurus retroflexus, the Longfin Mako shark tooth (upper jaw lateral tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. This tooth has a rich blue & tan crown and a tan colored root. Excellent colors!  Sharp cutting edge. The rear top of root has a "shoulder" build up, a characteristic of Isurus retroflexus. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. It is a Miocene tooth from the Pungo River Fm. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. A difficult tooth to source.

A Top Quality Diplomystus fish from the 18" layer, Green River Fm., Lincoln Co. Wyoming. The Diplomystus dentatus is a Herring from the Eocene age (50 MYA). This piece is from the 18 Inch Layer which is extremely hard and difficult to prepare. It also provides the most detailed, highly preserved fossils. Exceptional preservation and preparation. A natural Hoploscaphites nebrascensis ammonite with excellent preservation of the shell material. This ammonite species exhibits big ribs with multiple rows of tubercles (nodes). This specimen is sits on an original Pierre Shale with a flat base for a great display. This ammonite is from the upper Cretaceous, Pierre Shale Fm. of So. Dakota. Authenticity guaranteed. A Top Quality, Otodus obliquus tooth from the Khouribga phosphate mining area of Morocco. A lateral tooth. This tooth has an excellent golden tan color and a white root. Sharp edges and tip. The side cusps are complete. A massive, thick root. No repair or restoration. Great color! One of the earliest ancestors of the Megalodon. An excellent collector's quality tooth. Colorful Jurassic "gem" dinosaur bone from the Morrison Fm., Moffat Co., Colorado. Silica (agate) replaced sauropod dinosaur limb or vertebra bone. The bone pore structure is well perserved and gives the bone a wonderful natural "textured" look with different colorization. A Top Quality Onchopristis numidus (Saw shark) rostal tooth from the Kem Kem area of Morocco. Onchopristis was a large, fearsome Cretaceous Saw shark, and it is believed to be a meal for Spinosaurus.
