A rare, 3-7/8" Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain Silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Megs to locate. This tooth was found in the Ernst West quarry. This Megalodon tooth has the high quality enamel with a great Blue & Tan color. The bourlette is a light brown color and nearly complete. The root is articulated and complete. The serrations are sharp with some damage and a large tip serration. This is a middle Miocene Meg. No repair or restoration. I don't see middle Miocene Sharktooth Hill Megs from Bakersfield, California very often. One of the rarest Megs! Authenticity guaranteed.

An ultra rare, Top Quality lower jaw lateral Hexanchus tooth - the Sixgill Cow shark, from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. This tooth has a rich blue & tan crown with a tan root. A LARGE, High Quality Ankylosaurus osteoderm (bony armor plate) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Ankylosaurus and Denversaurus, a Nodosaur, were the two Ankylosaurs present in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek Formations.  A complete body osteoderm plate from an adult Ankylosaurus. The bone is excellent quality with excellent color / patina. A thin profile which is indicative of Ankylosaurus. One crack. No restoration. A Top Quality Eurypterus lacustris, the "Sea Scorpion", from Lang's Quarry, Herkimer Co., New York. A July Fossil of the Month. This is a spooky looking arthropod with large claws that are related to arachnids, such as, the Horseshoe crab. A complete specimen that is perfectly displayed on shale matirx. The New York state fossil. It was found in the Fiddler Green Fm., Phelps Member of western New York and it is Upper Silurian age (420 mya). No repair or restoration. A Rare Basilosaurus isis premolar tooth from Morocco. Basilosaurus was in the Basilosauridae family of early whales. Note - this tooth is a premolar with no wear and most of the root. This material is a new find and represents an early transition form of the whale which was a fully aquatic carnivore. No repair or restoration.
