Hexanchus gigas - Chile
An ULTRA RARE, Top Quality Hexanchus griseus symphyseal tooth from the Caldera Basin of Chile. A May Fossil of ther Month. This is a slightly pathologic lower symphyseal jaw tooth with 7 large primary cusps on the left side and small cusps on the right side. Superb preservation and color. No repair or restoration. An excellent root - very unique & extremely difficult to find! Authenticity guaranteed. Unfortunately there are no more teeth coming from this site. This rare piece is from an old collection.
