Rebbachisaurus garasbae was a large sauropod dinosaur that lived during the middle Cretaceous in north Africa. It was a massive herbivore growing up to 66 feet in length and weighing up to 7 tons. Rebbachisaurus had a long-neck, a tall ridged back, and a long whip-like tail. Interestingly, the herbivore dinosaurs are quite scarce in the Kem Kem deposits of Morocco. It is the only named herbivore in the Kem Kem.

Rebbachisaurus, like other Diplodocoidea dinosaurs, had many round and narrow, peg-like teeth which would be used to grasp and rip vegetation. A limited amount of excellent quality tooth are available with all detail preserved. The biting surface is typically well pronounced with a wear facet. Middle Cretaceous age (Cenomanian stage), 96 MYA. Found in the Kem Kem basin, Morocco.

New - Titanosaurids - a November 2018  publication discusses that most of the Kem Kem sauropod teeth are most likely Titanosaur teeth and not Rebbachisaurus. These are the larger Kem Kem sauropod teeth. Larger in length and diameter plus have more wrinkled enamel. Unfortunately, Rebbachisaurus garasbae from the Kem Kem was discovered and named from skeleton material, but no teeth were found. So, Rebbachisaurus became the name given to all the Kem Kem sauropod teeth. It now appears that Rebbachisaurus teeth will tend to be smaller, (shorter and reduced diameter) and will have less enamel wrinkling.
