A rare, Top Quality Anzu wyliei caudal (tail) vertebra from the Hell Creek Fm. of Montana. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". An excellent vertebra. Excellent light brown color and patina. This specimen has excellent perservation. Note - the open cell structure of this theropod vertabra. Also note the large pneumatic fossa on the sides - an Anzu vertebra trait. There is a segment of tendon fossilized with this vertebra. A rare Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens lower jaw from the late Cretaceous of North America. An October Fossil of the Month. This lower jaw (dentary) section is ~85% complete - missing the very back of the jaw which eroded away. The delicate front of the jaw is 100% complete. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. They possessed ~300 teeth that were in columns of five teeth each which acted as conveyor belt to maintain a large chewing surface to cut and grind their food. This lower jaw includes 25 columns with approximately 65 teeth. Bone quality and color are exceptional. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Garfield Co., Montana. Two cracks were stabilized in the front of the jaw. No restoration. An excellent collector's quality Edmontosaurus jaw which is near complete.  Authenticity guaranteed. A Top Quality Struthiomimus altus tail (caudal) vertebra from the late Cretaceous of North America. Struthiomimus is a long legged, bipedal, toothless dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The Struthiomimus means "ostrich mimic" which best describes this species. Excellent bone quality and color. The vertebra is complete with processes missing. Excellent bone preservation. No repair or restoration. An ulta rare Top Quality Struthiomimus altus hand (manus) claw from the late Cretaceous of North America. Struthiomimus is a long legged, bipedal, toothless dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The Struthiomimus means "ostrich mimic" which best describes this species. Excellent bone quality and color. The claw has some proximal end and the very tip is missing which is common. Excellent bone preservation. No repair or restoration. A Top Quality Zuul crurivastator, an Ankylosaur, osteoderm or scute (bony armor plate) from the late Cretaceous of North America. The Campanian age Ankylosaurs grew to 20 feet and 6000 pounds, and a body covered with this bony armor. The bone is exceptional quality with excellent color and patina. A rare, EXTRA LARGE, GEM Quality Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of SE Montana. A February Fossil of the Month. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". A fantastic manus claw. This is 1st manus claw which is largest and most robust; often referred as the "thumb". Excellent rich brown color and patina. This specimen has incredible preservation - no pitting, nicks or wear. All surfaces are fantasic - very rare. Note - a small tip area was professionally restored which is typical for most Hell Creek claws. The repair is quite small with the repaired area being 5 mm on the right facing side of the tip. A very rare Top Quality, Allosaurus fragilis toe claw (pes claw). A January Fossil of the Month. This Allosaurus toe claw measures 3-1/16". Highest quality bone. Great rich black - brown color.
