Allosaurus fragilis
An EXTRA LARGE Top Quality, Allosaurus fragilis tooth. A May Fossil of the Month. This Allosaurus crown measures 1-7/8". The enamel is high quality. Great rich brown color. Excellent posterior and fair anterior serrations with wear. Very good overall condition and serrations. Normal crak fill. No restoration. Allosaurus was the apex predator during the late Jurassic with large teeth designed to slash predators. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Bone Cabin Quarry, Como Bluff, Wyoming.
