Lepidodendron, a Lycopod or "fern-like" tree.  Very ornate bark pattern. Exquisite detail and preservation. The shale matrix is a very nice color. This specimen comes from the coal bearing region of the Upper Silesia Basin, Czerwionka, Poland. They are approx. 315 MM years old.

A Top Quality Tietea singularis, petrified Tree Fern, trunk slice from the Maranhão Basin, NE Brazil. This tree fern was from the Pedra do Fogo Formation and is Permian age age (265 MYA). Both sides are polished. The interior is highly vascular with unqiue pores and channels that have been silicified into agate. Trunk slice thickness is 3/16" and makes a great display. This piece exhibits exceptional preservation and color. Authenticity guaranteed. An exceptional old collection display piece!

A Top Quality Tietea singularis, petrified Tree Fern. trunk section from the Maranhão Basin, NE Brazil. This tree fern was from the Pedra do Fogo Formation and is Permian age age (265 MYA). The Celastrophyllum emarginatum is flowering tree from the Eocene age (48 MYA) in the ancient Lake Unita deposit. This piece exhibits exceptional preservation and excellent color.
