An EXTRA LARGE (6-5/8"), Quality Carcharocles megalodon from offshore Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. A January Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon is a big upper jaw anterior tooth (A1). Great color. The enamel and serrations are very good quality. Bourlette is a dark brown (nearly black) color, extra large and mostly dentin later. The root is complete. No repair or restoration. A LARGE, Top Quality Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis pes ungual (foot claw) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An April Fossil of the Month. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by spikes. This ungual has exceptional color and patina. Overall an excellect pes ungual. A group of six TOP QUALITY, Metasequoia dakotensis cones on original Hell Creek Formation matrix from Montana. These "dinosaur age" pine cones are found in the Hell Creek Formation of Dawson Co., Montana. A March Fossil of the Month.   These Upper Cretaceous pine cones are high quality with great preservation.They are fully inflated spheres and maximun size (redwoods produce very small cones for their size!). The Metasequoia is the "dawn redwood", and it is one of the three redwood conifers species. Authenticity guaranteed. An incredible display piece.

A ~6" Bone Valley Megalodon upper jaw anterior tooth from the Peace River, Florida. An EXCELLENT GRAY colored crown. Very good color and overall shape! Quality enamel with some wear. The bourlette is black colored, large and near complete. The serrations are worn, but are clearly visible includung the tip. The root is black, extra wide, and complete with typical hydration cracks. Research showed that they could use their opposing teeth in a scissor-like motion or a vertical whipping motion to cut prey. It is the first animal to cut vertically.
