An ultra rare, GEM Quality Torvosaurus tanneri tooth from the Morrison Formation. A September Fossil of the Month. This completeTorvosaurus crown measures 1-516". The enamel is highest quality. Excellent rich green -brown color. Exceptional posterior and anterior serrations. Note - the anterior carina end about 1/2 of the way down from the tip. The diagnostic for a Torvosaurus tooth. A rare, incredibly preserved Caenocidaris cucumifera, a fossil club echinoid (urchin). The specimen is fully inflated, nicely articulated, and complete with ornate spines - a very aesthetic display. These “Club” echinoids on matrix include some composite spines/radioles from their species. These spines are challenging to find. A Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens tail (caudal) vertebra from the late Cretaceous of North America. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. Bone quality is excellent. Nearly all of the fragile processes are intact!  Cracks filled.
