Holmsella sp.; an  Extinct Primitive shark

A very rare shark skin specimen. This matrix piece is covered with dermal denticals. Shark skin impressions with denticals are extremely rare and a Paleozoic age find adds to the rarity. An exceptional collector's piece from an old collection!

An Extra Large, Top Quality Chilean Hexanchus griseus tooth from the Caldera Basin of Chile. This is an extra large upper jaw parasymphyseal tooth with a single primary cusp. Excellent preservation and fantastic color. Perfect cusp. These tooth was found in the Bahia Inglesa Fm. and is late Miocene to early Pliocene age. A scarce collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. Unfortunately there are no more teeth coming from this site. This rare piece is from an old collection!

A LARGE silica replaced Cyrtospirifer brachiopod. Both valves present  - complete specimens and matrix free. Exceptional preservation. More than 1"+ thick and heavy! This is a late Devonian (370 mya) brachiopod from Rudkine near Voronezh, Russia. An incredible display piece!

A Top Quality Palmoxylon sp. - Petrified Palm trunk section from Toledo Bend, Louisiana. This petrified palm is from the Catahoula Fm and is Oligocene age (30 MYA). One side is polished and the other side is natural. The interior is highly vascular with unqiue pores and channels that have been silicified into agate. Trunk slice thickness is 2.3/4" and makes a great display. This piece exhibits exceptional preservation and color. Authenticity guaranteed. A rare, Quality Anzu wyliei toe bone (digit 1 - the large digit) from the Hell Creek Fm. of Montana. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". An excellent toe bone. Excellent brown color and patina. This specimen has excellent perservation.
