A rare, Top Quality Ankylosaurus magniventris partially rooted tooth from the late Cretaceous of North America. Ankylosaurus magniventris was the largest Ankylosaur which grew to 30 feet and 17000 pounds. Note - These incredibly sized dinosaurs had small teeth. The enamel is the highest quality with excellent color / patina. The crown has a little wear facet. No cracks or restoration. A very rare, High Quality Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth. This tooth measures 2-1/2". The enamel has an excellent color and patina. Very good mesial and distal serrations. Base cross-section is a extra large, tall oval. No hydration cracks. A small amount of crack fill and small sections were restored. A BIG high quality tooth! T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. Possibly an attempt to create serrations. There have been some C. hubellii GW transition teeth found in the mine.  This tooth has a rich tan crown and a light tan colored root. A Top Quality, Carcharodon hastalis,  Mako shark tooth (upper anterior jaw tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Note - This tooth exhibits the classic characteristic shape of the middle Miocene Mako teeth found both in the Lee Creek mine and the NC red site. I do not see this Mako tooth shape from other Miocene deposits. Possibly a hastalis species variation and it is referred to as the "narrow form". Maximum size is approximately 2". This tooth has a rich tan & blue crown and a tan colored root. Excellent colors!  Razor sharp cutting edge. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. It is a Miocene tooth from the Pungo River Fm. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.
