An ultra rare, TOP QUALITY Spheniscus megaramphus , Penguin skull from the Bahia Iglesa Fm. of central Chile. A March Fossil of the Month. An excellent, large skull and beak. There are several penguin species described from this site, but I only seen 7 or 8 of these skulls ofered for sale 20-25 years ago. This is the largest penguin from this site. My largest and best example.

A rare, Top Quality, EXTRA LARGE Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of SE Montana. Another June 2018 Fossil of the Month. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". An exceptional manus claw. Highest quality rich brown color and patina. This specimen has incredible perservation with exceptional surfaces - no pitting, nicks or wear - superb surface articulation! There is some professional restoration which is typical for a big Anzu wyliei manus claw. The tip has a small section repaired and the proximal edge has a small triangular area repaired which starts at the center of proximal surface (see photo). A GEM QUALITY, EXTRA LARGE exceptionally prepared, Phacops speculator trilobite. The preparation is German with all original colors and no restoration. Exceptional completeness and preservation. Great natural black shell with excellent luster. You got to love the natural iron mark. There is definitely no paint on this specimen. The compound eyes are exceptionally preserved. A Middle Devonian (380 mya) trilobite from the Oufaten area, Atlas Mts., Morocco. Authenticity guaranteed. Museum Quality.
