A GORGEOUS, HUGE copper red colored Angustidens  tooth - an upper jaw anterior tooth from the Meherrin River in northeastern No. Carolina. An April Fossil of the Month. Incredible rare copper red colors! Highest quality enamel. Excellent red and copper colors - very nice. No enamel peel. The red bourlette is excellent - 80% complete. The serrations are razor sharp with an exceptional tip serration. Excellent side cusps. A Top Quality Ankylosaurus osteoderm (bony armor plate) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Ankylosaurus magniventris was the largest Ankylosaur which grew to 30 feet and 17000 pounds, and a body covered with this bony armor. A body osteoderm section from a juvenile Ankylosaurus. The bone is excellent quality with excellent color and patina. No cracks or restoration. An Extra Large, Quality Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw anterior tooth from So. Carolina. High quality enamel. The black bourlette bourlette is complete. Serrations are sharp including a good tip serration. An ULTRA RARE Top Quality, EXTRA LARGE Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth from a large adult T. rex. An April Fossil of the Month. This Rex crown measures 4-3/4" (straight line) or 5" (on curve) and 1-5/8" wide. The enamel is the high quality. Great brown & black color. A massive extra wide tooth. You can see why this bone crusher is referred to as a "banana tooth". Overall the tooth is excellent quality with crack fill. This is a real 5" tooth. Note - this tooth was found in the spring of 2021 and it was exposed to the winter freeze and thaw cycle which cracked the tooth in to pieces. This tooth was professionally prepared and put back together with missing area filled in. It looks incredible!  T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. See the detailed description to determine how to tell a real T-Rex tooth!
