A rare, EXTRA LARGE Chubutensis tooth from Peru - upper jaw tooth. An excellent tan colored crown with no peel. Large side cusps. Extra sharp serrations are excellent with some damage. The bourlette is a light tan color and mostly complete. The root is excellent light tan color, nicely articulated, and complete with few hydration cracks. A Top Quality Carya sp., a petrified Hickory wood limb section display, from McDermitt, Oregon. This petrified wood is from the Trent Fm and is Miocene age (20 MYA). A natural fossil wood section with one end polished. Limb section thickness is 1-1/2" and makes an excellent display with a well defined wood grain and a craggy crescent shape.
