A Top Quality Ptychodus whipplei, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Collin Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Arcadia Park Fm. tooth. An EXTRA LARGE pyrite replaced Paraspirifer bownockeri brachiopod from the Silica Shale Fm., Sylvania, Ohio. Both valves present  - complete specimen and matrix free. A late Jurassic sauropod limb bone section from the Morrison Fm. This is most likely a Camarasaurus fibula end section. Camarasaurus was a mid- sized Jurassic sauropod.. Great rich dark brown color. Excellent bone quality. Note - sauropods had hollow bones with air sacs to reduce their weight. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Bone Cabin Quarry, Albany Co., Wyoming.
