A "Picture" Top Quality Carcharodon carcharias, the Great White shark, tooth from So. Carolina. An upper jaw anterior tooth.  "Picture" GW tooth with a nice GRAY & TAN  colored enamel and a solid dark gray colored root. Root is well preserved - very difficult to find in the Carolina GWs. An ultra rare Top Quality, Stegosaurus plate. A February Fossil of the Month. This Stegosaurus plate is good sized and measures 17-1/2" wide x 13" high. The bone quality is exceptional with a black color. Excellent overall condition. There is limited crack fill, but there is no restoration. This is a large and all natural specimen. Stegosaurus was an iconic quadruped herbivore recognized by these plates lining its neck, back and tail during the late Jurassic. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Bone Cabin Quarry, Albany Co., Wyoming. Authenticity guaranteed. A top quality, large Phareodus fish. The Phareodus encaustus is a Osteoglossidae fish from the Eocene age (50 MYA) fish, Green River Fm., Lincoln Co. Wyoming. The Phareodus was a carnivorous fish with large pointed teeth and a long pectoral fin. This piece is from the Split Fish Layer and shows fantastic detail. Excellent preservation and preparation. No repair. All natural. An excellent display piece!
