An EXTRA LARGE, ~2" Top Quality Hexanchus griseus tooth from the Caldera Basin of Chile. Beautiful blue cusps. A February Fossil of the Month. This is large complete lower jaw tooth from a large shark. Superb preservation and color. Twelve primary cusps. An excellent root which is very unique & extremely difficult to find! Our 2nd November FOTM is a GEM quality, rare Araucaria mirabilis pine cone specimen from Argentina. Extra large stem. Exceptional definition. Only slightly compressed. An ultra rare, Thalassocnus, a Swimming Sloth, tooth. This sloth lived on the west coast of So. America during the late Miocene age. The rare tooth is from the Bahia Inglesia Formation, Copiapo, Chile. Fantastic red color. Excellent condition - no damage. No repair. I have not seen the swimming sloth teeth for sale before. This is all of the sloth material that I have from 10+ years ago! A very rare collector's tooth.
