An extinct early rabbit jaw (Palaeolagus haydeni) from Sioux Co., Nebraska. Palaeolagus was one of many mammals that thrived in the Early Oligocene in North America. Found in the Brule Fm. This is a newly named species from the Late Cretaceous deep water Northumberland Formation deposit. A unique species believed to be Carcharhiniforme shark.
