A Top Quality Usakias wardi tooth (an Alopias family - Thresher shark) from Tushbair, Kazakhstan.  Lateral position. Note - These teeth have a heavy enameloid build up at the along the top of the root (similar to I. retroflexus - see photo).  Excellent color and condition. A LARGE, Top Quality Carcharodon hastalis, Broad-tooth Mako, shark tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from the Bahia Iglesa Fm. of Chile. This tooth has a light blue crown and a tan root. Excellent color! Razor sharp cutting edge with three cutting edge waves at the base of the crown - a very unusual pathology. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. Perfect tooth. This species is the ancestor to the Great White shark. A fantastic color collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. You don't see these BIG Chilean Mako teeth any more.
