A GEM Tyrannosaurus rex tooth from an adult Rex. This Rex crown measures 2-13/16" and is very thick (1-1/8"). The enamel is highest quality. Great rich dark brown color. Exceptional serrations that are near complete all the way to the tip on the anterior and posterior sides with the slightest tip wear. Note - This is a recently erupted tooth that is essentially serrated to the tip - quite rare. A Top Quality Lambeosaur (Parasaurolophus) maxilla from the late Cretaceous (Judith River Fm.) of North America. An April Fossil of the Month. This is a complete upper jaw containing 100s exposed teeth. Parasaurolophus is a lambeosaur (crested) hadrosaur or "duck-bill" from the Judith River Formation in Montana. The maxilla possessed 100s teeth that were in rows of teeth which acted as conveyor belt to maintain a chewing surface to cut and grind their food. Bone quality is excellent. Minor crack fill. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., Fergus Co., Mpntana. A TOP QUALITY, EXTRA LARGE & very rare Archaeocete whale, Zygorhiza kochii, from Harleyville, So. Carolina. Our 2nd November Fossil of the Month is a highly desirable Zygorhiza molar or "yoke" tooth.  An exceptional chocolate brown colored crown and tan root. The crown has fantastic articulation with incredible detail. Complete root. This tooth has minimal repair to tips of the 3 cusps on the left side only.
