An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Carcharodon hastalis, Broad-tooth Mako, shark tooth - lower jaw anterior tooth from the Bahia Iglesa Fm. of Chile. This tooth has a light blue & tan crown and a tan root. Excellent color! Razor sharp cutting edge. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. Perfect tooth. This species is the ancestor to the Great White shark. A very rare Top Quality, Allosaurus fragilis toe bone (pes digit). A May Fossil of the Month. This Allosaurus toe bone measures 2-7/8". High quality bone. Great rich black-brown color. Excellent overall condition. Normal crack fill with a section of the lower rim of the articulated end rebuilt. Allosaurus was the apex predator during the late Jurassic.
