A Top Quality Carcharodon carcharias, the Great White shark, tooth from So. Carolina. An upper jaw lateral tooth. Solid charcoal gray colored enamel and a solid dark gray colored root. A rare, High Quality, 6-1/2" Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw tooth from South Carolina. An excellent Dark Gray colored crown. High quality enamel. The bourlette is a nice dark brown color. A Top Quality Ptychodus whipplei, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Dallas Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Atco Fm. tooth. These massive teeth have a design with a very tall conical cusp with transverse ridges extending across the cusp face, but typically do not reach the margin. Authenticity guaranteed.

An Extra Large, TOP QUALITY, 3" Carcharodon (Isurus) hastalis tooth with an excellent blue & tan colored crown. A March Fossil of the Month. This is a natural matrix specimen sitting with many whale bones in the original Round Mountain Silt matrix block. The large whale bone at base is 5-3/4" x 3". Plus there are four more whale bones and a shark vertebra exposed in this matrix block. This is a 100% natural matrix piece - nothing added or glued. 100% natural.
