The Echinoid Display Collection. A LARGE, Top Quality Hemipneusta radiatus sea urchin from S. Limburg, Netherlands. This urchin is tall at 1-3/4". This is a Cretaceous age sea urchin (100 MYA). An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality, rare Spinifructus antiquus palm fruit specimen from Montana. These "dinosaur age" palm fruits are found in the Hell Creek Formation of Dawson Co., Montana. A TOP QUALITY, LARGE rare Araucaria mirabilis pine cone specimen from Argentina. Another May 2018 Fossil of the Month. These Jurassic pine cones are exquisite and known for their high quality and extreme preservation. This cone is large and shows great exterior detail and a small stem (rare). A silica replaced Cyrtospirifer brachiopod Rudkine near Voronezh, Russia. Brachiopods are bivalve molluscs. Both valves present  - complete specimens and matrix free. Exceptional preservation. Note - 1" thick and heavy! This is a late Devonian (370 mya) brachiopod. A nice display piece!
