An ultra rare Mosasaur matrix piece with two Top Quality Mosasaurus (Prognathodon) anceps teeth with their original roots. Another May 2018 Fossil of the Month selection. Includes a massive 5-1/2" tooth and a 3" tooth in the original matrix. Both are fully rooted and perfect teeth which is very rare! This is not your typical Mosasaur crown glued to a root. This is an all original, associated specimen (beware of the fakes - discussion below). Exceptional condition and preservation.  No repair or restoration. Museum Quality. The only authentic Mosasaur specimen with two original rooted teeth that I have seen!  Note - the large Moroccan Mosasaurs are being renamed to a Prognathodon genus. Authenticity guaranteed.

A rare GEM QUALITY Basilosaurus cetoides, an Archaeocete whale tooth found in the Flint River, Georgia. An exceptional molar. An April Fossil of the Month. An excellent green colored crown and light tan root. Nicely articulated. Incredible preservation!  Whales do not shed their teeth like the sharks so there teeth will wear with age. An Eocene age tooth (36 MYA) from the Ocala Limestone Fm.  No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. A great Archaeocete tooth from the Flint River, Georgia from an old collection. This tooth is part of a rare three associated tooth set - buy all three teeth and receive a 15% discount!  One of my favorites!

An ultra rare Orcinus sp., a Killer whale, tooth from Caldera area of Chile. An incredible late Miocene Killer whale tooth from the Bahia Inglesa Fm. A MArch Fossil of the Momth. This tooth has incredible preservation and fantastic brown color. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. Unfortunately there are no teeth coming from this site 19 years!  This is the only Killer whale tooth that I have seen from this deposit. Orcinus sp., a Killer whale, evolved in the early Miocene, and is quite challenging to find in the fossil record. *** No discounts. ***

An Ultra Rare, Hexanchus griseus symphyseal tooth from the Caldera Basin of Chile. A February Fossil of the Month. This is complete lower jaw symphyseal (center) tooth. A rare female shark. Superb preservation and color. Ten cusps. An excellent complete root.  An excellent root which is very unique & extremely difficult to find! A Perfect tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.
