A very rare, Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth. This tooth measures 2-1/8".  The enamel has excellent color and patina. Excellent anterior and good posterior serrations. Base cross-section is a wide oval. Minimal hydration cracks with some crack fill. An excllent tooth! T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. This tooth has a rich tan crown and a white colored root. Excellent colors!  Sharp cutting edge. The rear top of root has a "shoulder" build up, a characteristic of Isurus retroflexus. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. It is a Miocene tooth from the Pungo River Fm. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. A difficult tooth to source.
